China to provide 1 million doses of corona vaccine to Nepal

Kathmandu. China has agreed to provide one million doses of corona vaccine to Nepal for the prevention of corona epidemic. After talks between Nepal’s President Bidhyadevi Bhandari and her Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Wednesday, China agreed to provide one million doses of corona vaccine to Nepal.

After the talks between the Presidents of the two countries, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanchi announced that China would provide one million doses of Corona vaccine to Nepal as a grant.

Earlier, China had given 800,000 doses of Verosel vaccine to Nepal.

Similarly, President Bhandari on Tuesday requested his Indian counterpart Ram Nath Kovind to provide the remaining 1 million doses of corona vaccine.

Under the first phase, the Government of India has provided one million vaccine grants to the Government of Nepal, while the remaining one million vaccine doses are yet to be imported from India.

President Bhandari also thanked President Xi Jinping for providing 800,000 doses of corona vaccine from China.

Also, during such an epidemic, will the corona vaccine come first from India or China? Both India and China have promised to help Nepal.
